Conference Chairman Message: 

It is my great pleasure, on behalf of the CHEMINDIX 2010 Organizing Committee, to extend a warm invitation and encourage you to participate in the "8th International Conference and Exhibition on Chemistry in Industry" (CHEMINDIX 2010) that will be held at the Gulf Hotel, Kingdom of Bahrain, on October 18-20, 2010.

The theme of CHEMINDIX 2010 is “Innovative Technologies for Tomorrow’s Energy Demand”. There will be a special session focusing on “The Role of Nanotechnology in Meeting Future Energy Demands”.

The conference will feature invited key note addresses prepared by some of the world's most prominent researchers and business leaders, who will be supported by recognized academic and industry experts who will present follow up technical presentations. Together, these authorities will share insight on latest research and technology in their fields of expertise, using oral presentations, panel discussions, and poster sessions.

In parallel, the exhibition will provide CHEMINDIX 2010 Conference participants with the opportunity to be acquainted with representatives from wide ranging Companies who will be show-casing their latest developments and breakthroughs in products and services. More than 200 international companies will be  displaying their innovative solutions to address specific industrial needs.

Since the founding of the Chemistry in Industry (CHEMINDIX) first conference and Exhibition 20 years ago, the CHEMINDIX Conference and Exhibition continues to be recognized across the region as a foremost opportunity for researchers, engineers, and industry to share knowledge and exchange of cutting edge scientific thinking. Participants from more than 40 countries contributed to the success of CHEMINDIX 2007 and it is expected that a similar diversity of participants will support his years events too.

In conclusion, it is opportune that on behalf of the Organizing Committee I finish by thanking the Saudi Arabian International Chemical Sciences Chapter of the American Chemical Society (SAICSC-ACS) and the Bahrain Society of Chemists (BSC), under whose auspices CHEMINDIX continues to prosper.
