On behalf of the CHEMINDIX 2010 Organizing Committee, it is my great pleasure to extend a warm invitation to you to participate in the "8th International Conference and Exhibition on Chemistry in Industry" (CHEMINDIX 2010) that will be held at the Gulf Hotel, Kingdom of Bahrain, on October 18-20, 2010.

Since the founding of the Chemistry in Industry (CHEMINDIX) first conference and Exhibition 20 years ago, the CHEMINDIX Conference and Exhibition has greatly contributed in featuring knowledge exchange among researchers, engineers, and industry from more than 40 countries around the world.

The "8th International Conference and Exhibition on Chemistry in Industry" (CHEMINDIX 2010) is organized by the Saudi Arabian International Chemical Sciences Chapter of the American Chemical Society (SAICSC-ACS) and the Bahrain Society of Chemists (BSC).  This conference will reinforce the mission of previous Conferences to address the challenges facing the Petroleum and Chemical Industries in the region. Building on the successes of the previous conferences, the organizing and technical committees’ members are devoting time and efforts to put forward a comprehensive technical program that addresses technological aspects of utmost importance to the petroleum and petrochemical industries. World renowned experts are joining us to share their knowledge and expertise through delivering keynote speeches.

The theme of the conference is “Innovative Technologies for Tomorrow’s Energy Demand”. The conference will feature invited papers by many of the world's most prominent researchers and business leaders.

There will be a special session focusing on “The Role of Nanotechnology in Meeting Future Energy Demands” and will offer exciting technical sessions in other key technology areas communicated through oral presentations, discussions, and poster sessions.

The exhibition associated with the conference will provide the conference participants with the opportunity to be acquainted with the latest developments and breakthroughs in products and services. More than 100 international companies are displaying their innovative techniques and products that have been developed to address specific industrial needs.
